Mean Girls: That's why her Hijab is so big, it's Full of Secrets

Raise your hand if you have ever been personally victimized by a sister in the MSA.

Despite calling ourselves a sisterhood, we don’t always act like we are. We gossip about each other, judge each other, think we’re better than each other. We feel judged, unwelcomed, and ostracized. Join us for a candid discussion about the reality of our community. This is a space to address the shortcomings of our community and learn how to develop sisterhood, so we can inshAllah create a more inviting and welcoming environment for everyone.

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES:
What’s shared here stays here, what’s learned here leaves here
This is meant to foster self-reflection: think about your own shortcomings, not others’
Renew your intentions
Share your experience but not at the expense of others
