Echoing Change: Night of Music, Poetry, & Comedy [Sacramento]

  • The University of Sacramento, University Union  6000 J Street Sacramento, CA, 95819 United States (map)

It's a concert, it's a stand-up comedy, it's a spoken word night!

Our first “Echoing Change” Tour and we’re inviting YOU!
It’s exactly what it sounds like – we’re working towards rippling change in the hearts of domestic communities, particularly our refugees, undocumented immigrants, and the displaced.

Be prepared for an evening of laughter, entertainment, and talent with some of the biggest performers like Brother Ali, Barakah Blue, Tariq Toure, J-Meca, Leftist, Lady K, Azeem Mohammed, & Moses the Comic.

Our 6-city tour will start in Virginia and continue to Houston, NYC, Raleigh, Sacramento, and Chicago from November 2nd to December 8th– make sure you book early to get tickets for just $20!

This Night's Performers include:
Brother Ali for hiphop
Tariq Toure for Spoken Word
Jawad Mecka for Music
& Azeem Muhammad for Comedy

Each event will include a fundraiser and presentation displaying our domestic programs. Proceeds from the event will go directly towards Penny Appeal USA’s domestic poverty alleviation programs in the United States. We work within domestic communities to provide digital, educational, and social resources to refugee families, undocumented immigrants, and disadvantaged communities in the US.
